Dance & movement · Salt Spring Island

Dance as a way of meeting.

I create dance experiences where people can find one another through movement — listening, communicating, adapting and playing together. From Latin rhythms and partner dance to accessible movement, family experiences and community gatherings, the form can change while the invitation stays the same: begin where you are, notice who is with you, and build something together.

The practice underneath

Different dances. The same invitation.

Whether we're moving through a Cumbia rhythm, listening to a partner in Fusion, dancing with a plushy, or gathering a community on the dance floor, I'm interested in what happens when movement becomes a way of relating.

Listening. Adapting. Playing. Communicating without needing all the words.

Fusion Partner Dance is one of the places where I explore these skills most deeply, but it isn't the umbrella for everything I do. The same relational practice can show up through inherited dance forms, accessible movement, family play, teaching and community facilitation.
